i did a search previously for some dual solenoid information for my BstC and i came across this picture. Dual Solenoids
now i can't find the owner of this picture. i was wondering if the two peices in the line going to the soleniods are specific to this application? i am referring to the white connector right above the passenger side valve cover breather and the copper looking thing a little bit down from the white connector. does the white connector need to be a specific diameter?

The white thing (actually a vacuum line "T" fitting) is not specific.

Get the largest one that will fit inside your vacuum hose, and make sure all 3 sides of the "T" are the same size. Sometimes the one side of the "T" will be a smaller size than the other ones, and you do NOT want that.

thanx. i knew it wasnt called a white thing but i was having a brain fart at the time.

I have seen this done before but can't remember the reason why.

What does running two solenoids do, and how do you hook it up

if you have the BstC from ramchargers, you only have a range of about 6-8 lbs of boost control. thats just the limits of the solenoid on our cars. if you purchase a second solenoid (from kirbans or caspers) you can run them together to get about a 12 psi range. you also have to purchase the Y-connector from ramchargers.
