Duel Fuel Pump Wiring Question?

I'm wiring up my Used duel Atr fuel pump system. And was wondering if its ok to run the second pump hot wire (+) to the Altenator? Or should I run it to the battery?

What I did was to run a single power source from the alt (fused on both ends) to the trunk area and attach it to a second fuse block.

This gives me extra fuses and power for other things I have back there.

Just one way to skin a cat.

It is intended to be hooked to the alternator and then has an inline fuse before the relay.
