Looking to dyno a car with MaxEffort 16 position thumbwheel (with MAF). Car will be run from a 3rd gear roll.

What's the best technique to do this while ensuring that the MaxEffort is in it's propper WOT fuel mode?

Thanks.

Hey Banning how are you?

First thing a guy needs to do is take the pos E fuel limiter to 255 on a MASS air chip.
Then , take the spool fuel pos 7 adjustment to 6, on any version.

Get the boost up to 15 or 16 to lock on the maf or map .

If you don't make it to 5100 rpm's or so, it will hang in spool up fuel for about 3 seconds after the map or maf locks on, then it goes on the thumbwheel and you can take it from there.
A backup timer will trip you out of spool fuel mode if you don't make the required rpm.

It will stay on the thumbwheel position fuel till you let off the gas to less than half or the rpm drops below 3600.
