Yes. My most common 60' is a 2.0, and that usually nets me a 12.9x. On one run I cut a 1.9 60', and got my current best ET of 12.59. I would definitely like to get a 1.7 or even a 1.8.
The rule of thumb is that every .1 you take off your 60' will take off .2 at the end of the track. So if your best 60' is 1.9 and you got a 1.6 that would give you .6 off your ET. (roughly)
