With champion heads that have the EGR holes filled in. Does the port on the intake still have "pressure or is that all blocked off because of the filled in holes from the heads?

Reason I ask is I'm going to put a block off plate and I'm wondering how critical it is the make sure that seals. i've hear its sometimes tough to get a good seal.

It needs to seal, direct path to intake. Possible vacuum leak. I use permatex right stuff for my EGR block offs. No issues so far. I use right stuff everywhere.....

Are your heads currently off? You can use 84/85 Hotair GN Felpro gaskets. They don't have the EGR cutouts. I just did that with my Champs.

Even with that you still have to seal the EGR port on the intake manifold.

take some jb stick epoxy, mush it together, jam it in both holes (!!) ,put your block off plate back on and move on to your next project.
