elctro-motive beige sticker on windshield. # 5909

I have a beige sticker with black outlining on the drivers side lower windshield. The sticker says Electro-Motive. It then has the nubmer 5909 really big across the whole sticker. It then has a little GM symbol below the number. The previous owner bought this car in 88 and said that the sticker was there when he bought it. Do you guys know what this nubmer means??? thanks.

It's probably a parking sticker for a previous owner who worked at electromotive. they have a plant on the south side of Chicago, in McCook. Those guys get a sweet deal, they buy GM products at manufacturers cost.
