I am installing a new autometer electric fuel pressure gauge. From what I have read I attach it to the end of the fuel rail. The rail has a small valve in it. Is this the Shrader valve? Do I remove it and attach the solenoid to the end or do I use a tee to keep the function of the shrader valve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you could do it either way.

Buick vendors sell a rail fitting with tapoff for an -AN line.

Retains the schrader fitting and cover on the end.

Screws onto the existing fitting.

I think Caspers Electronics sells them and perhaps Johns Performance and Kirban Performance.
