im in the process of doing some wiring and im not sure how much the fuse box under the dash will take. i want to wire 3 gauge lights 1 12 volt to water temp gauge, razors alky kit and electric cut out. right now i have the 3 gauge lights hooked up into one ign port with a fuse and i have the alky kit on another ign port. then i was going to put the cutout on one and the 12 volt to water pump on another. is this to much?

Rewiring

Hi,
I don't think the loads you have mentioned are going to overload the circuit(s) I think you are plugged into. The alky setup is the greatest load, can't be much more than a few amps max. The lighting is far less, probably an amp a piece, or less. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi,
I reread your post. Are you running an electric water pump? If so, this may alter things.I would say no high draw pump motors on fuse block circuits. Wire it separately, with a relay and a dedicated switch. Sorry, have no experience here, but I know my 12V electrical circuits. Be careful!

I'm in need of some electrical help.

Is there away you can build or buy a seperate fuse type block for all these aftermarket gauges/scanners etc? My fuse block looks like a rat's nest with all these wires pluging in all over it. I'm also having issues keeping my park lights on...they blow the fuse as soon as I flip the switch

Thanks
Ray

OH HELL!!

Thats exaclty what I had in mind

PS, I finnaly got my park lights working but I have to keep the dash lights on low or else it will pop a fuse. I'm guessing one of those gauge lights is spliced into the dimmer switch. I can't wait to get this nest sorted out.

Thanks again
