I went out of town for several days and disconnected the battery as a theft deterent as I don't have an alarm yet. I drove it all day yesterday with less than a half tank of 93 octane gas and it ran fine. I then filled it up and it still ran fine--all day without bucking once. I think this eliminates any question about the connection on the new fuel pump I installed. This was the first day in 2 months that it ran a whole day without bucking under mild acceleration. Is this just a coinsidence? I'm anxious to drive it today and am hoping for the best. Yesterday we had about 95% humidity today will be much less.

I don't know if you posted before or not so I don't know all the details of your problem but have you checked your engine grounds on the back of the passengerside head.

Also have you checked your ignition?

mine looks like this.

because my module is bad.

post somemore information about what you have checked.

I had it checked out on a snap-on scanner and everything checked out ok. I guess I should invest in a scanner if I'm going to keep this car. Any suggestions?
