I am about to rebuild my engine. On poston's there are 2 types of pistons, forged pistons and hypereutectic pistons. Which ones would be better?

Which ones are the big difference? How would you rank them in order of being the best first?

JE or Wisco either one first, then trw. The only reason I say that is the trw pistons are heavier. I am running wisco pistons in mine and love them but doug has trws in his and has zero problems also. Up to you Daniel

I went with the Speed Pro/TRW forged units in my motor as well. I've used them in a few SBF's and had zero problems, so not expecting any when I finally get my car back on the road.....which will probably be never at the rate I'm going...lol.

How about Diamonds, where do they fit in? And then there is also the CPs which look like a great piston.

You'll find links to a series of articles on rebuilding the LC2 engine in the GENERAL INFORMATION section of the TTA FAQ List I'm sure there will be something useful in those articles. :)
