Before the swap the fan worked fine but now does not work at all. The temp sensor and dash temp light work. Fan motor is bad?!? How do I hot wire the fan motor to verify it works? Any other suggestions?

just hook the two wires at the motor to the same pos and neg source. You can use the battery in the car if the fan is still in the car. You can also use a spare battery if the fan is out of the car. You don't have to cut any wires, just use wire strippers and expose just enough of the wire to attach another wire and connect to the battery. I am no electrician, but I use this test all the time when I get elec fans out of parts cars and I have them stored in the shop. It's an easy way to show a potential customer that the fan works. On most elec fans, you can hook up the wires two ways, for the fan to push or pull.

HTH!:)

And there is a ground wire on the back of the passenger side head for the fan. It is very hard to get to.
