exhaust question

heya guys have a 2-3/4" terry huston exhaust with magna flow mufflers. my car is sooooooooooooo loud when you really lay into it is there any way of quieting it up with a different muffler. any help plz thanks

All Exhausted

I had the hooker catback and it droned so bad i couldn't stand it. I replaced the super comp turbos muffs with the the deltaflow flowmasters. It did get a little quieter but still was bad. I ended up buying the 3 inch ATR Crossflow and been happy ever since. The system is very free flowing and quiet. It will have a ripping sound at WOT be sounds really cool. I have the same type set as yours, I am very happy with the tunes.

I've heard of people putting a strait through muffler in place of the cat.

I only got the ATR mufflers,(pitbulls) and had local shop install them and make me new pipes (2 1/2").Had them since '95 and no problems at all,they are straight thru and sound really good.In '95 I think they were about $60.
