Extender Chip and Scanmaster 2.1

I already went through the search but couldn't find an answer to this problem.

After installing the Extender Chip, my scanmaster keeps turning off. It works great and then all of a sudden it goes dim but eventually comes back on. It seems to be doing it when I apply the brakes, but not always. Whats up?

same setup here no problems goes out sounds like a ban ground start there
