Going To Go To An External Fuel Pump Setup And Was Looking To See What Anyone Is Using With Our Cars Running 9's? I Have 83lb Inj Pt-72 Etc. Etc. Want To Know What Is A Good Sized Pump For This Setup. I Looked At Barry Grants And I Know Some Us Aeromotive But Not Sure On What Size. Thanks.

I run a Weldon 2015. Its been absolutely trouble free for 3 years now. Had it with my TSM motor and now with my stage 2. It is loud as hell but it does the job.

also will -8 an fuel line be big enough or should i go with -10 and would -6an be fine for the return and im looking at the aeromotive pumps and was wanting to know if i would need to use one of there bypass pressure regulators or will my billet adj. be fine?

I am using the stock Pump in the Tank for normal driving and the 2025 Weldon
mounted inside the Bumper. Like Louie says it`s loud, but I have it turning on at 5 lbs...3 years and trouble free...II

BTW with a -10 Braided 2nd line

I understand Magna Fuel has some nice pumps. ProTuner In-Line Pump MP-4301
They are inline and dont require a step down box and are continious duty. Supposedly pretty quiet too. I think someone on the board has installed a system from them. Maybe he can chime in.

magna fuel pumps?

I would love to hear from someone ont he magna fuel pumps as i was looking at them in my summitt and jegs catalogs and would like to know if someone on here is running this one as the book states the 4301 pump to be used and would like to know if i will need to get a pressure control unit or if my fpr will work?

I dont have any experience with Magnafuel, but my opinion is stick with the proven stuff. I dont know any Buick guys running one...

The weldon 2015 can be had in several inlet outlet variations. I ran mine -12 to the pump.-10 from the pump to the rail. Stock style fuel pressure regulator will contol it. I have used the stock feed line as a return in the past. I now run a -6 return. The change was only necessary becuse of a intake manifold change.

what about the aeromotive 1000 pumps? also i was thinking of running -10 from the tank all the way to the rail with filters before and after the pump? also were you using the stock fuel rail with a billet adj. reg.? thanks mike.

what about the aeromotive 1000 pumps?
Never trusted those pumps. The only aeromotive i would is the big gold unit

also i was thinking of running -10 from the tank all the way to the rail with filters before and after the pump?
Yes thats the way to do it.

also were you using the stock fuel rail with a billet adj. reg.? thanks mike.
I am not doing so now but did for a long time. Absolutely no issues ever.

okay who sells the weldon pump as i have looked on ebay in summitt racing and jegs and cannot find anyone who sells them?

also im looking at the aeromotive fuel filters and they have the billet round ones that are cleanable and they come in 10 micron and 100 micron 10 being fine and 100 coarse, so the question is do i want a fine filter or a coarse one? with the fine one create a fuel issue were as the coars one im sure will let the fuel flow right through with some filtering? thanks as this is the last part of my build to get done.
