External oil cooler?

Is anyone running an external engine oil cooler? How big / what style? My '87 GN has the remote filter under the pass headlight, but there's only a supply line and the returns to the turbo and the block. I've got to think that the turbo seals would live longer with cooled oil up there.

I have a FMIC and electric fans, so I think the stock IC location would be a good place for another heat exchanger. Thoughts?
