fan shroud bottom studs

I notice there are no studs near the bottom of the radiator for the bottom of the fan to mount to. I only see two holes. Does that mean I can only mount the fan to the upper studs under the a/c lines?

Within those 2 holes there should be a clipon type nut that you run bolts into. Studs were only used at the top.

are the clip on nuts supposed to be attached to the fan shroud?

Now that you mention it, they are. The shroud sits in behind the hole and the bolt goes through the hole and tightens to the cilp nut on the shroud.

I think I'm missing the bolts then. Do you happen to know what size bolt I need to get?

sorry, I've no idea or way to measure them, I'd suggest running the clip to the hardware store for a match.
