We are coming to Orlando Feb 26th - March 6th for a big family get together.

The car rental's are outrageous :eek:this time.

We need 3 cars for the week and they want $1100 plus for each car:eek:

Cal or anybody have a friend in the car rental business?

Thanks in advance

$80+ a day for a rental? U need to look around. That's way steep even that time of year.

Yeah I know, we are looking online and even tried one local agent. Maybe Cal will rent us a GN for that:biggrin::eek::biggrin:

Go to Enterprise.com and select a pick-up location just outside the airport. They charge an extra fee at the airport, WTF? There's one 3 miles away, take a cab there or they will pick you up. They are not open on Sunday, but rent it until Monday and drop it off early. An Impala is $362wk Feb 26-Mar 7. No, I don't work for them. :-)

If your going to Disney they have bus service for each hotel. I was there this past summer and never moved the car all week. I stayed in downtown Disney(Disney property). You have private bus`s and Disney bus`s. No need for a car unless your going outside of Disney area. I had a choice to leave the Disney parks with the hotels bus or take a Disney bus to any resort and catch a bus to downtown Disney (Across the street from my hotel). The bus`s run every 20-30 min. I liked riding the bus. Plus there`s alot traffic and cost to park. Did I say alot of traffic!

Yeah thanks for the info! We (the entire immediate family) go down about every 5 years or so and rent a huge house 8+ bedrroms with pool and go to Disney but more so do LOTS of site seeing:biggrin:

# families needs 3 cars to go out and about, plus I wanna meet up with some Florida board members and go watch Cal tune a few cars one day:cool:

I'll ask my dad what he did when they went. I think he booked the rental through the airline with the plane tickets and he saved huge.
