I went 145 on my 84 1150ES Suzuki at night and hit a big bug on my face shield , that thing was juicy and it got in my ear ....

Pretty impressive Pat, you must have gotten a good one. The top speed (advertised) on a TL1000 is 162mph.

EightSecV6, Yes that one must have been a fluke unfortunatly I totalled it riding a wheely and the one I replaced it with would only go about 174 even with all the same things done to it.
