Sure miss the GSX, dont know if they are done or not, but Gran Sport Autobody had the car in Canada doing a full frame resto.

Probably was grumpy. I was still a teen, but I went to a couple GS Nats back then.

I've been going to Bowling Green since '87 and those pics look like the old Holiday Inn that burnt down not too long after.

That used to be the "host hotel" with event registration set up in the lobby. It even had a large indoor pool. We would stay at the Best Western Continental near the Vette Plant and would drive over to the Holiday Inn to watch the locals' cars cruise through and shoot the breeze.

That was the Holliday Inn it had an indoor area were everbody used to gather and drink had many a beer with Jim Bell and Art Carr, Ken D it was great till the next morning when the Big blocks would start up and Vibrate the windows. That was a fun time I wish we could go back to those days, it was a blast.

Hopefully going to go to BG in 2010 for the 30th. Remember the Autozone in the older section of BG where they used to meet with the local 5.0s (and some 5.0s came from Nashville to race our TRS), some awesome racing that is for sure. I have some video footage from 2000 or 2001 from BG mainly street footage. After i copy it from vhs to dvd i will post it on the board!
