Anyone no if the Fram SureDrain fast access oil change system adapts to our cars?

I think everyone knows what I'm talking about, but just in case.

Seems to me JiffyLube had something like that years ago, but with theirs, they sucked the oil out of your crankcase. I would avoid it, since it looks like is will severly slow down the speed with which the oil departs the crankcase. To me, that means slower flow might not drain off as many of the "particles" that may be floating in the bottom of the oil pan.
 
Another thought:

If the threads of this "Proprietary" drain plug extend higher than the bottom of the pan, than it would leave a puddle of dirty oil in there, right? This would also prevent any particles that would normally find their way out stuck in the pan as well.

I give it a "Nice Try" but I don't think it was thought through well enough...

I suppose you could use shims/washers to keep the thread engagement at a minimum, however, I agree with Night Train: That valve opening seems a little on the small side.
