Front License Plate Bracket

Did the 86 Grand National come with a bracket? My plate is screwed directly in to the bumper but it does not sit flat. If it did does anyone have one for sale?

Technically it was an option. The bracket was mounted to just the lower part of the bumper with two 6mm threaded bolts. The top license plate mount used two 1" tall nuts that snapped into the square holes. The flat part of the bracket should be pararel to the flat part of those nuts. Maybe you are missing the plastic nuts?

It was an option unless shipped to a state with a front plate requirement like Ohio and California and such. Now I think of it that may have been the only freebee option on the Turbo cars.
