i wanted to know what i would have to do to keep my engine cool with a front mount. i am using a eastern performance intercooler ramcharger fans i had to remove the plastic that was surrounding the radiator and the rubber piece at the bottom i guess it is there to send air directly to the radiator i havent driven the car yet so i dont know how hot the engine will get yet.

Thats about all you can do. Mine runs a little warmer than it did without my FMIC but the duel fans keep it cool enough.

I had my radiator re-cored before going to the FMIC - the IC did not seem to hurt the engine temps. One a hot day the temp goes to about 190* and in traffic with AC on it will go just over 200, but at night driving very easy = 160, cool night it stays under the 160* stat - about 155/157.

I would try to put back all the radiator baffles as I think this will help cooling at freeway speeds. I have a PTE front mount with NO baffles, dual fans, and unknown radiator. At freeway speeds it runs about 195 with the AC on in 76* weather. In stop and go traffic it drops back down to 175. Not terribly hot but a little too warm than I'd like it to be. To me this indicates an airflow problem. I'm gonna find or make some baffles and modify them for the intercooler.
