front steering assembly

Putting all new front steering on my car. Unfortunately I forget how it goes back together. Does the center link get installed with the ends pointing toward the front or the back of the car? If someone can tell me that I can figure the rest out.

I'm pretty sure front...It's been awhile and my car is not around to look at
