I'm a new TR owner and I love it. I'm ready to do a little bracket racing with the car. About 15 years ago when I bracket raced, I remember disconnecting the end links of my front sway bar on my 70 firebird, it really helped out with 60 foot times.

I'm sure some of you guys have tried it with these cars, any success?

Thanks...

The popular setup for drag seems to be: no front sway bar, huge rear sway bar, boxed lca, airbags are big hit also.

I'm thinking about removing my front sway bar too.

I just got the new Moroso springs that have a different rate for the driver's side than the passenger's side. They're supposed take the place of the airbags, I'll keep you posted on the springs.

Thanks for the info, this being my first time at the track with this car I wanted to eliminate a few variables.
