Fuel gage problems

Just noticed the fuel gage needle is past full and buried in the cluster housing. The car does have an xp pump that is hot wired. Any ideas on how to check it out? See ya! John

Usually that's an indication of a bad ground

I had the car on a lift and a guy started feeling around on the wires at the tank and it started working properly WTF. See ya! John

That's good probably went bad when fuel pump was changed.

You lucked out, had a brand new one not work from day one, had to drop the tank.
