Fuel Gauge Not Working

Hi;My fuel gauge its not working.The needle pass the full mark and going to the bottom of the gauge and stay there until I knock it with my finger and then they comes back.The next day they do the same.Its the sending unit or the gauge? Please help.Thanks :frown:

Sounds like the gage if you tap on it. Try pushing on the dash, might be bad connection in the back of the dash.
