Does anybody make a fuel pressure gauge mount that attaches to rear of hood? My gauge is 1 5/8 I believe or possibly a gauge install kit?

I bought mine from TR Custom parts last year...but for some reason it doesnt shop up on Mark's website.
Might be worth calling him...FWIW Im very happy with mine.

I don't think they are made anymore, per another post I saw recently. I wish I could buy one of the TR ones, but instead will likely have to bend up my own. Not terribly difficult with some patience...

OK guys thanks, how did the from TR mount up in case have to go fabrication route ?

Can't you make your own by running a fuel line from the fuel rail port to the cowl? Hasn't anyone done this, seems like it would be cheaper then what I see people selling used for $150, couldn't imagine what it must of cost new.

Or how do they run the gauge inside the car? Is it an electronic fuel pressure gauge that works for inside?

He's asking about physically mounting the gauge; the line off the rail is rather self-explainatory.

I've got some pics somewhere I'll post later. But it is basically profiled to that area of the hood and screws to the "hollow" area with some real short fat sheetmetal screws. Then it comes out and tightly folds over the top of the hood with a rubber bumper underneath.

Fuel pressure gauge kits will be back soon! Looking to have them back on the site within two weeks.

I bought the gauge used for 50.00. I went to lowes and bought a long piece of metal that was flexible, but not flimsy. I cut a piece with my dremel (only to I had to cut with) and made it about a foot long. It already had holes in the metal, so when I bent it the way I liked it, all I had to do was get some sheetmetal screws and a couple washers, then bolted it up. Didnt cost me any more than 20 bucks for the hardware and metal.

Our kits include the bracket, Autometer gauge and cup. Also 4 ft of teflon braided hose with two 180 degree hose ends.

Biggest obstacle on bringing these back is the brackets. Got a batch of nine I am making up right now. Should have them ready very soon. Once they are ready I will put them back on the site.

Yes the one inside the car is electric. Mine is from Autometer. You put the sending unit on the fuel rail and run the wires to the gauge inside the car. I had one on the hood but I think it looks cleaner with it inside the car. It is pricey though, like around $250. Check Summit or Jegs.

Kenny bell had some I got a few none for sale... im a horder grumpy is my idle

Call me crazy - but I'm working on a fuel line receptacle / mount for the cowl that I can plug my rubberized gauge with it's 16" hose into when I want to do WOT blast to check FP tuning
But then remove it for normal street driving.
The big, readable gauge I use has a back that is covered in heavy rubber, and I have a clip mount for under the wiper arm.
Rather than having to plug it into the fuel rail and snake the rather long line when I want to do a test.
The only thing I hesitate on is do I really want more fuel lines permanently mounted, and running around above my hot header and engine.
God knows I never have a leak in my regular vacuum lines or other such things...riiiight.
