Sometimes after shutting off the car the fuel pressure will drop to 0 in just minutes. Other times, like now, I can shut it down for over a week without touching the car and the fuel pressure hasn't dropped at all. Not driving the car has cause the battery to die and I haven't bothered jumping it yet but the fuel pressure is still where it was the last time the car was running. What would make the pressure hold sometimes and sometimes suddenly drop?

check your plummin'

check your fuel rail for leaks and the schreader valve on the fuel rail, also I would check your lines that go into the fuel tank

my 2 cents

I have no schraeder valve because it was removed so I could install the K-B hood-mounted gauge. I was suspecting the regulator due to the fact that pressure would not go up or down when removing the vacuum line that goes to it. I thought it would raise @10 psi or so when the line was removed. Mine just stays at the same psi.
