im only getting 38 psi line off. is it ok for our cars to go wide open throttle with that vacuum line off the regulator? i want to see what fuel psi i have at WOT with the line off. with the line on and 14 pounds of boost i hit 51 fuel psi at WOT. is this ok?

Not to be mean, but are you kidding??? Seriously, if you're really thinking about trying that you're asking for a blown headgasket.

The entire reason for a boost sensitive regulator is so the FP goes up with boost, if you don't use it you are asking for a MAJOR lean condition (that's when it's HG time)...FP should always be set line off because that's the only time that engine Vac/boost will not affect it.

oops. sorry i had a brain fart there. i dont know why i even asked tthat question. :D
anyways, does 38 line off 51 with 14 pounds of boost sound ok?

As long as you are not getting knock. There's other variables to take into account - weather, octane, intercooler efficiency, timing, etc - Just make sure you are Not knocking

Does injector size play in on what fuel preasure you'll want to run? I oredered some 60 high Z's and a chip and I will be retuning so what should my FP be? still 43 static?

Is 43 just the static for the 86-87s, or does it go for the 84-85s as well?
