I set the fuel pressure at 43lbs as was suggested but it now reads 36. What could have caused the change?

Was the 43 with the hose to fpr disconnected? If so, it will drop when you put the hose back on.

TommyG- Based on your question and your signature it appears you tuning "BLIND". This means you do not have a scan tool. Adjusting fuel pressure on a good engine is used to get the BLM number to 128. This will make a difference in how the engine performs. Just a few cents. Brad

???????

Brad, I do have a scanmaster but just now learning how to use it. I did have the vacuume line off and set it at 43. I now realize that eith it on it drops to 38 or so. (dummy) Thanks for the help. Tommy

Tommy- Adjust your fuel pressure in order to get your BLM to 128 at idle in gear. If your BLM is at 140-raise fuel pressure. If it is at 110-lower fuel pressure. Let the computer learn the settings before adjusting again. Once you get to 128 you will feel a difference. Brad
