MY FUEL PUMP WENT OUT RECENTLY ON MY 87 GRAND NATIONAL. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A NEW BUICK FUEL PUMP BUT IT DIDN'T HAVE THE STRAINER. I REALLY NEED A STRAINER REALLY BAD. THE BUICK AND GM DEALERSHIPS SAID THAT THE TURBOCHARGED 3.8 STRAINERS ARE NOT LISTED. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A STRAINER. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

BRANDON :(

If you are going to replace your pump, you should use a walbro340,avalible from one of the many TR vendors.Dont waste your time putting back a stock pump in.The new fuel sock(strainer} is supplied with the new pump.HTH Kurt

fuel pump

I bought mine at fullthrottlespeed.com and am very happy with it. Take the g.m. pump back. Also buy the hotwire kit and your done. Tommy

I agree about the Walbro pumps but if you need a sock right now go to Autozone, they should have one in stock.
