Len how tall were the tires on John's car when you used the 4.56 gears? Probably 31's weren't they? Is that too much gear for the 33X10.5W's on my never to be done hoopty? Also, is that a Nodular or aluminum unit & was the ring gear lightened too? Thanks bud.

ring gear is cut on back side so i would say yes it is. john's tire's were 32.5 tall. the housing is not alum. its a mark williams housing so i would say it has to be nodular.

Nodular is stronger anyway, aluminum is prone to leaking. I have a strange 40 spline nodular center section with 4.57 pro gear, and I am planning on swapping the 33" tall et streets I have now for 34.5's in the future. That is a smoking deal on that center section! Mark williams is really pricey...:)

I got a 200r4 I'd trade for the turbo 400 My 200 is billet parts, rollerized and transbrake built by lonnie dyers (extreme transmissions).

Bring the convertor and we wil try it in my car,If it helps ill pay;)
