Can someone follow the link below for the gas tank removal and in the 4th picture of the top of the tank, tell me what the connectors are ?

There is a single black wire and a yellow connector with 2 wires coming out of it.
Is the single black wire the fuel pump connection and the two wires for the sending unit or is that not correct ?
Im pretty sure I have some sort of power or ground problem to the fuel pump and the sending unit. The fuel gauge stopped working and the pump will only run for a couple of minutes and shut off, sometimes it comes on in a minute, sometimes it takes an hour or so to come back on
FRUSTRATING to say the least.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Steve

I am pretty sure the one black wire is the tank ground. I think the grey is for the fuel gage and the purple is the power to the pump. Follow the grey and purple to where it plugs in under the bumper and unplug it. Put a volt meter red lead on the wire where the purple wire connects to and the the black lead of your volt meter to ground. You should read 12 volts DC or close to it with the key on. There is also a fuel pump relay on inner fender under the hood. I think the fuel pump only run until you reach the psi setting on the regulator and until the pressure drops below the "42lbs" it does not come on again. Good luck.
