Gauge Pod ?

Received a dual a-pillar guage pod a few years ago and am just getting around to installing it. Don't know the brand.
I doesn't seem to be able to be pushed down and forwards enough to fit correctly because the lower pod hits on the dash gauge surround.
Is this common, or is there a fix?

Unfortunately this is normal. Guys have been asking for a while to have a better quality pod made for our cars. I just positioned mine a few times until I liked it. I'm not sure who made them but most turbo Buick vendors have been selling them for years.

I bought one from Kirban's, it is junk but it is all there is.
