Can I just wire every thing straight from the ecm harness.

Yes, but get yourself some solder and shrinktape and do a nice job. You will find youself sleeping better at night knowing your conections are not an issue.
A little trick I use to solder. Go get yourself a good butane tourch lighter from the smoke shop. Don't cheese out buy a good one that will continue to work. That will cut down on soldering time alot.............O ya and some fine rosin core solder from Radio-Shack.

Your going to love the GEN II. You have a wideband?

No I didn't get the wide band,but should I?

I recently acquired a MAFT Gen 2, LS1 MAF, and a Pete Tomka cold air kit. I am planning on installing these items this week.

I am trying to decide what would be the best approach to going with a wideband set-up. With the LC-1 wideband, is there a need for the XD-16 gauge, or would this be optional? I think having the info visible in a gauge readout would help, I'm just unsure if I would need it.

Thanks,
Pat

XD-16 gauge is optional. You can watch AFR's on the GEN II.

I do like the gauge though.
