Getting car painted, what color are the T-tops??

Im getting my 87 GN painted. are the outer painted sides of the t-tops supposed to be glossy or flat black? they were glossy before but it was not original paint and someone told me that they thought the out side edge was suppsosed to be flat black? is this true?

I think they should look they same gloss as the rest of the black out on the trim and mouldings, kind of a semi gloss i would say.

Theyre satin finnish, same as all the other trim like JP said, but i did mine in semi-gloss because that makes them look darker and now they look better because they dont inturrupt the roofline. I left the moulding peice on them satin so it would match the other trim though, looks pretty good.
