I have a broken power drivers seat. I'm trying to take it out to restore the interior of my car. I gave all the bolts out but one that I cannot get to since I can't slide the seat forward. Is there a way I can over-ride the motor and move the seat forward to expose this last bolt. I believe the motor is shot as I was told this when I bought the car. If anyone can chime in here and give me some help it'd be appreciated.

Thanks

I haven't found a way to move the seat if the motor is bad. Using universals socket with long extension may work. If not, then open end wrench moving the nut 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time is how I did it.
If you can remove the four bolts holding the seat on, then you will have more room.

I was worried you might have said that. I'll get at it next weekend. Need to build up some patients. This is the one that sits right under the rail so it's gona have to be an open end wrench. I'm just hoping to get on it. That link will be helpful once I get it out thanks.

The same exact thing hapened to me,the plastic gears broke inside the motor. To remove the track from the car was a PITA! I took an open end wrench and went at it.It me took a long time, but have patience.
