I would have to say after looking at a bunch of GN's and trying to find a good one, I have noticed all of these so called low mileage GN's out there for sale. I promise you with new bumper fillers and my three dings removed my car could easily pass for thirty four thousand miles instead of one hundred thirty four thousand. Now I know there are some out there that are actually low mileage, but come on there seems like there are more advertised as low than high. Does anyone else notice this trend?

If the choices are between 34K miles and 134K miles, you would be suprised at how many people would be suspicious of somebody claiming 34K in leiu of 134K, not buying the car, and not telling the seller the reason. Or know that the real mileage was 134k. Now approximating the true / real mileage of a car that you suspect that has had the speedo reset, rolled back, and / or disconnected is a different story. And fwiw, my car has 20k & change on it, and anybody is welcome to inspect it to that mileage claim.

FWIW My car has 72k documented miles on it, but sat on the side of a house for 6-7 years through at least 4 major hurricanes and the usual Florida weather. It looked like it had 572k on the odometer . I say mileage isn't as much of a factor as good maintenance and not too many mods.

I agree with you 100%. I was very fortunate that I bought my car from the original owner with only 8.2K very well documented miles on it complete with all paperwork & traceability to the factory. It was covered and kept in a very warm garage it's entire life. Not 1 mod had been done to it. I doubt if I could ever get this fortunate again.
