GN Voltage????

Hey Guys
I got a spark plug wire tester and you set the gap and crank the car over. To set the gap you need to know what the cars voltage should be. Does anyone know?? By the way I have a 84GN

At idle, it should be 6 to 10 K

But it should be capable of at least 30K minimum, preferably 50K.
