Does anyone have any prior experience with replacing a stock GN O2 sensor with a stock GNX O2 sensor? I would like to know how much richer my A/F mixture will become and how effective this modification is. Also, do I need a new Prom chip (or anything else for that matter) in order to support the new sensor values to the ECM and realize the full benefit of this O2 sensor swap???

Too many cars,
Too little time.

You may see scanmaster parameters change alittle faster than stocker other than that no significate change.

The O2 sensor just reports the info to the ECM- the ECM controls mixture. SO changing the sensor won't affect mixture, unless the old sensor is not working right, and is not reporting good info to the ECM.

Thanks for the info. Why then did a GNX use a different O2 sensor than a GN and what is the difference between the two oxygen sensors?
