I decided to make an oil sending unit check fixture. I like fabricating so this was fun for me. I took a piece of square tubing and welded both ends, added a mounting plate on the back and taped some holes. I mounted a small regulator and a quickly fabricated bracket and there you go. Yes that is a GNX oil pressure gauge and now I can check the sending unit through the entire band with a quick reference between the gauges. This sending unit checked out good. Just thought I would share…

How come the air pressure gauge shows -0- but the oil pressure gauge shows 20? Looks like an interesting set up.

Because it is not connected to the 12 Volt power....when you connect it goes to zero.
