Going fast with class !

I had a glitch with my Translator + and wanted Bob to take a look at it. The problem was he was going away on holidays in a few days, and there was a doubt about getting stuff shipped in time. I put it to Bob, that I would be willing to make the road trip down to see him. In the midst of all the mayhem associated with getting ready to go away, Bob made the time to see me. This type of service is above and beyond the norm. This is what "Going fast with class" is all about.
My unit was exchanged with a new unit, just like that...He stands behind his products 100% .
It was worth the 11hrs (round trip) to shake the hand of the guy who creates all these wonderful innovations for us.

I use to burn my own chips, and after a lot of trial and error... I thought I had set it up pretty good, but since I stepped up to his Extender chip, Translator+ LT1 MAF and Boost Commander, my car has never ran better.

Sounds like you and I have the same outlook, and similar experiences.

The "Mad Scientist" definately knows his stuff, and is ALWAYS there to help. Sure hope he enjoys his much deserved holliday!!!!!!!!

I too used to do my own chips. Did them for years!! I thought I had everything down pretty good. Was able to run faster, and quicker with my race chips than any of the "over the counter" varieties I tested, so I was at least moving in the right direction.

BUT, when I got involved with the Translator and Extender system early in thier infancey, my car's entire personality and manners began to change (for the better), and I started tuning with that combo, I was amazed at how much faster and quicker my car was able to run (with no other changes to the under-hood combo).

It is hard to believe that I spent that much time sitting in front of the chip burner and not even come close to what the "Mad Scientist " has created.
It is so simple now, I have the BstC and trans+ mounted inside the car and can make adjustments in a few seconds. No more burnt knuckles and fiddling with the wastegate rod, no more having to play with the fuel pressure, no more... burn a prom/ test the prom/ make a change/burn another prom/ erase a bunch of proms, etc.
I have been spoiled
