Well call me vain, but I want the tires to look decent when paired together. Yesterday, I ordered some 275/50 BFG DRs. I was wondering what a good size and tire would look good up front to match? These are stock rims.

Thanks,

James

235/60's are 26", just like the 275/50's and the stock 215/65's.

Thanks,

I received a picture of the 235/60s and I like them. Now just one to a type that looks and performs well...

You do know that the 275 50s are very short tires. At 115 mph, my car goes through the traps at around 5500 rpm. Much too high for my comfort level. I'll be switching to some 275 60s and a 28" slick for the track.

Yes, the are close to the stock 26" height. The tires are still being shipped to me, but I'm almost wishing I would have ordered the 275/60s. Why don't they make 275/55? ;)

For the street the 275 50s are fine, cuz you shouldn't be racing someone at 115mph anyway. At the track is where you may run into pushing the rpms.

275/60 are about 28" tall ...

I'm toying with the idea of using 215/75 (27.3" tall) on the front. Section & tread width about the same as the stock 215/65 (25.8" tall).

This would raise front of car about 0.75" above stock, and the rear would be about 1" above stock.

Thinking it may "look" more normal when used with 275/60 rears, without the "jacked up" high school, hot rodder look.
