I've been looking forever for some Dealership photos with the then 'new' T/Types and or Grand Nationals. Some outside shots with em lined up out front would be best. I remember seeing a few years ago a post card of the now defunt Balch Buick Pontiac in East Windsor CT with a row of GN's out front. It was awesome. Anyone have, or know where I can some pics?? Thanks in advance...........................Ken B.

Wow....124 views, no replys. Someone has to know someone who has or knows someone with some pics. Guess i'll keep searching....... :(

There is a pic in Kirbans turbo Buick Engine book. It shows a pic of a dealership with about 15 GN's lined-up.

I would've wet myself back then if I'd have seen that many GNs parked in front of a dealership. :D

I sure wish i would have photo'd the GN's when i visited my parents in 87 in northern Virginia. The dealer in Mannassas kept about 10-12 lined up--(and still have a(about) 100 mile car they have had since new.)=The dealer in tysons corner had 26 gn's lined up in a row at their small dealership--i thought i had died and gone to heaven---it was a beautiful sight.

we had a lot of GNs up here .. Best Buick had 25-30 from a dealer in the south that couldn't move them or went belly up .. I remember goin there for parts on a Monday morning and at lease one would be on the ground with the wheels gone

Pertty funny seeing all the Yugos lined up behind the GNs in the second pic under "Dealership 2"

Yugo I go we all go! How does a dealer sell Yugo's and GN's at the same time! :D Funny all those GN's are T-top cars too! Back then people looked at you like you were nuts if you didn't order T tops! That was the only way to go. Now with GN's everyone wants hardtops!

That was my auto painter buddy that took those photos. Snow on the ground and the fact they were all 87's suggest to me that it was late Feb or March of 87 when they were taken. My buddy, Bill never got to own one but he always loved them. He has a 68 GTO that he's been thinking of restoring for the past 18 years. He is always tied up doing other people's cars. When I was looking for my GN back in Nov. of 86 I went to that dealership to find one but they didn't have any. All they had was one of those black Lesabres with the seats similar to the GNs. It was all black and I thought I was in luck when I saw it from a distance-but :( I ended up going to a dealer in Wareham, Ma about 15 miles further and they had 1 that had just been driven down from New Hampshire. I took it for a test drive but I made up my mind that it was going to be mine before I even left the parking lot. After stepping out of a Dodge Colt Vista that was quite a rush! The Vista was actually not a bad vehicle but it didn't have AC and my wife wanted AC-so thank god they came with it.

The LeSabre you saw was a super rare LeSabre GN that was a N/A 3.8. Only 112 produced I think.

Theresw a photo of about 20 turbo cars floating around.

A bunch of us took some pretty cool photos of about 20 or so cars in a big parking lot in Iowa last year towards the end of the Iowa Buick meet. By the way theres some video of all of us doing wideopen throttle blasts on the expressway but one of the boardmembers is dragging his ass on the matter. I gotta find these pics and post em up, it might like it. Most were GNs maybe 3-4 t/types. It was baddass.

Didnt work sorry.

U can search for Iowa meet whos coming, and the photos are before the last page.
