I sure wish i would have photo'd the GN's when i visited my parents in 87 in northern Virginia. The dealer in Mannassas kept about 10-12 lined up--(and still have a(about) 100 mile car they have had since new.)=The dealer in tysons corner had 26 gn's lined up in a row at their small dealership--i thought i had died and gone to heaven---it was a beautiful sight.

Unfortunately the the dealership of which you speak (Wright's Buick) is now a Brown's Hyundai! I had stopped by there last year to talk to Mr. Wright again about his 115 mile GN and it had all changed. I had spoken with him about 4 months earlier when I had gone there to see the legendary car. It was a real treat to sit in a Brand New GN in 2005!!! I wish I new what happened to it.

i remember a local dealer had only one new one on the lot. and in this neck of the woods i have yet to meet one on the road! there must have been load after load of new g.n.'s headed east

Great Pictures!!!

Unbelievable! God, Please put me in a time capsule and let me go back.... I loveeeee those pics of the Buicks lined up at the dealership like that. They're awesome man. Good on you Guys for finding that. I stood here staring at them, and thinking of my teenage days, and where I was at at that time.

Oh, and another thing. My car came from Fairhaven Mass, and who knows? One of those cars could be the car that's sitting in my garage?!!! Pretty friggin neat.

Yup, that was at Duggan's in Fairhaven,Ma. The dealership is still there. There was/is definitely a higher concentration of Turbo Buicks up here in the Northeast. Heck, there are at least 12-14 of them within about a 5 mile radius of me to this day. Its not like I live in a bustling metropolis either!
