Ground question?

There is a ground on the DS comming from one of the bellhousing bolts and goes to the fire wall.

Is this right or does it go somewhere else? Like rear bolt of coil pack? or intake bolt

Trying to chase does a popping/surging issue I was having at the track last weekend. I have a Caspers ground kit that I'm going to install.

Question on the caspers ground kit. I know where the actual grounds go but what about the 2 black wires included. Instruction say splice in the blk/tan and the rest to blk/wht.
Where are these wires located. Thanks
