ok guys the other week i noticed that on the scan tool as i got on the car the volts would drop alot. so i took out hte alternator and took it to a alt. and starter place. they looked it over and the volt regulator ended up being bad. so they fixed it and checked everything out and i was on my way. i get home and bolt in the newly fixed alternator, replace both negative and positive battery cables and get a nice new power wire going from the back of the alternator to the battery. i start the car up and i am only getting 11.5 volts from the back of the alternator. the alt. is charging just a very low amount of volts. so i figured they missed something or messed something up. i took the alternator back to them tey looked it over hooked it up to there machine and it all checked out ok and idle and with a load. i have to get a chance to put the alternator back in and go over my wiring im just curious if anyone has any ideas. the guy told me to make sure the wire going to the alternator has power in it and it does. any ideas would be great before i end up taking the whole car to them to look at. thanks
