non dimpled are two piece rims in that the mesh section is welded to the outer drum section .
dimpled are one peice and harder to move the backspace because the drum has to be sacrificed to get the center section , also the dimpled have a different hub where the cap snaps on so you may want to find another set of non dimpled rear or fronts doesnt matter ,
no reason to use a front rim (which is harder to get and cost $$) for a respacing when rears work just fine and are much cheaper
