Need some input, I have totally refreshed stock block/tranny w/ a TE-44 & blue tops and Alky(running 21-23 lbs) I feel my recent installation of the Real Art Carr 3000/3200 non-lock up has slowed down my performance(pieces don't match) Would a TE-60,61, or 63 w/50lb injectors the way to go????

WITH my te-62 009s and art-carr 9" tc.
this combo is able to run 11.2@120mph on1/4 mile.
and able to smoke my tires @60 mph(sweet)
50s would be the way to go with the te-62.
(just bolt-ons)

it does feels slow cause of the nun-lockup.
THAT is untill you step on that pedal.

ANY time slips from old to new combo.

I've personally seen TE44/TA49/bluetop cars slow down with a non lock up converter (If they pick up going to a 9" non lockup from a D5, they were no where near their cars potential with the D5). If you keep the converter, go bigger on the turbo/injectors and port the heads to get the most out of the new combo. TE60 would be too small a jump. 61 would be a minimum.
