Hard Vac. Lines

Rears.
One piece feeds 2 that branch out from it.
Should the "feeder" piece be straight?
Mine has a kink in its dink.
Can it (they) be replaced with hoses?

I guess you're talking about the lines running to the pvc and map sensor? If so they have a curve in one of them that leads to the pvc valve. The other is longer and straighter and goes to the map sensor. If yours is kinked ( like some get when you try to take the lines off to get the upper plenum off ) Kirban sells replacements for around $20. The only problem is they are chromed and need to be sanded and painted to match the other 3 hard lines.

You can replace them with hoses and tie straps, but if you're running high boost, they still can pop off, I had better luck just replacing the hard lines.
